Distinctive Identities - California Academy of Sciences

Designed by Kit Hinrichs and his team at Pentagram, the identity of California Academy of Sciences is distinct, evolutionary, evolving and most importantly, designed to last for a long time.

The color system is kept to a basic palette, orange to represent the Golden Gate Bridge, green to represent life and natural world, and gray to represent the San Francisco fog and the concrete building. This does seem to work well for a public museum by being extremely approachable and friendly - for kids especially.
