Distinctive Identities - The Scribble

The identity of Minale Tattersfield Design, simply called "the scribble", still stands as one of the most distinctive and memorable identities I have ever seen.

It is to say that a simple expression like a scribble can also be a logo and satisfy the functional (and emotional) requirements.

From their website:
Established in 1964, Minale, Tattersfield emerged early on as a major force in the design world. Combining exceptional innovation with the use of sound commercial principals as the basis of our ideas, and with the ability to talk to clients in a language they understood, we quickly became famous from London to Tokyo for being creative and effective.

.. fashions, trends and influences have come and gone, but our original philosophy and principles remain the same today as they have always been. They are based on our firm belief that true originality can only stem from the recognition that each client and every assignment is unique and that only by seeking to fully understand a problem is it possible to achieve a truly creative solution.

Their design approach, stated in a deceptively simple language, can be easily overlooked in a world filled with a lot of talk. But it is the one that works, and endures.
